Agriculture and innovation

Every resource is used wisely

Irrigation in the almond orchard is managed using soil tensiometers and instruments that measure photosynthesis, providing insight into the actual conditions of the soil and trees. Water comes from natural sources on the estate and is channelled into naturally occurring basins, without relying on external equipment.

Fertigation

Giving each tree what it needs, when it needs it

Fertigation provides trees with a regular supply of the nutrients they need at each stage of growth.

The products used are:

  • organic;
  • plant-based;
  • not derived from animal sources.

This approach helps reduce the need for agricultural machinery and supports more efficient management of the almond orchard.

A living agricultural system

The almond orchard as part of the ecosystem

The rows of almond trees coexist with woodland, Mediterranean scrub, natural springs and natural habitats. Bees, other pollinators and nectar-rich plants help create a richer, more resilient agricultural environment.
